Youthchurch is all about growing highschoolers as followers of Jesus. If you are highschool age then you are welcome; whether you are just interested in finding out a bit more about what Chrsitians believe or if you are already following Jesus.
Youthchurch meets from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sundays during school terms. We just ask a small donation of $2 each to cover the cost of a light dinner.
Youthchurch is run by the Mitchelton Presbyterian Church.
Youthchurch kicks off for term 2 next Sunday 22nd April. We're having a "Kings & Queens" party to introduce our series on 1 Samuel which is all about Israel's eventful search for a king to lead them. There'll be some games and fun stuff, lots of food, and plenty of time to hang out as followers of Jesus! It's on from 4-7PM →
There is NO camp this weekend. The Youthchurch Waterski Weekend has unfortunately had to be postponed. On the morning of Thursday 12 January, SEQ Water advised that Maroon Dam was closed due to a blue-green algae outbreak. Youthchurch recommences in term 4 on Sunday 9 October with a Social Night. It'll be a fun night and we'll be welcoming the year 7 crew from Kidzbiz into Youthchurch too. It'll be held in the MPC Auditorium from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Cost is just $2 but year 7s are free this week.
Sunday 11 September is the last Youthchurch night for Term 3. It's going to be a great night with a fun activity, video, testimony, singing, prayer and a clear bible talk from our visiting QTC speaker, Dan Djamaludin. Come along, with $2 for a light dinner, and celebrate a great term of following Jesus together.
